Dean Dr. Gábor Szécsi Re-elected

Dr. Gábor Szécsi, the Dean of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Education and Regional Development of the University of Pécs, has been appointed Dean of the Faculty for another four years by Dr. Attila Miseta, Rector of the University of Pécs, with the unanimous support of the Faculty Council. Dr. Gábor Szécsi started his new term as Dean from 1 January 2023.

According to the decision of the Rector of the University of Pécs, Dr. Gábor Szécsi, Professor and Dean will hold the position of Dean of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Education and Regional Development (PTE KPVK) of the University of Pécs for another four years from 1 January 2023. Dr. Attila Miseta, Rector, appointed Dr. Gábor Szécsi as Head of the Faculty with the unanimous support of the Faculty Council.

Dr. Gábor Szécsi has been head of the institution since 2018. During his term as Dean, the Faculty has added a number of new courses and strengthened the training facilities of the KPVK in Pécs. PTE KPVK is currently considered one of the strongest lower secondary teacher training institutions in the region and in the country.
