VISA for citizens of the EU/ EEA member states

If you’re a citizen of an EU or EEA country (including Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein) or Switzerland, you can enter Hungary without a visa and stay for up to 90 days. For longer stays, you’ll need to register your residence after arrival.

VISA for citizens of countries outside of the EEA

If you are a citizen of a country outside the EEA or Switzerland, you will need to apply for a visa and residence permit before arriving in Hungary. The application must be submitted at the Hungarian embassy in your home or resident country.

Residence Permit
