The Szentágothai Research Centre (SZKK), University of Pécs and the 4iG Nyrt. are working on a cutting edge bioinformatics diagnostic software package in the framework of a more than 2.2-billion-forint developmental expansion. The corporation reminded us in its statement, how the explosive biotechnological and information technological development in the past period provided many substantial results in international medical-biology research. These breakthroughs revolutionized medical practice and shifted both diagnosis and therapy onto a molecular level.

UP to Collaborate in 2.2 Billion Medical-diagnostic Development

The goal of the project, 90% of which is realized in the framework of the Economy Development and Innovation Operational Programme, is to create a unique, cutting-edge bioinformatics diagnostic software package and to develop a competence centre. The latter one would revolutionize healthcare by developing ultramodern research infrastructures, new data analysis software and equipment helping personalized healthcare by making the assessment of data easier – they explained.
