Ceremonial Senate Meeting to Close the 2020/21 Academic Year

True to its traditions, the University of Pécs held a Ceremonial Senate Meeting to officially close the 2020/2021 Academic Year on 17 June at the Halasy-Nagy József Hall. At the event, habilitated doctor and PhD titles have been conferred as well.

Their successful research and academic writing activities, as well as their ability to create and give academic lectures in Hungarian and in foreign languages as well, have been demonstrated through a public procedure. On this basis, the University of Pécs's Habilitation Committee awarded 25 habilitated doctor titles.

Based on their successful defence of their theses, 59 students were awarded a PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) title by the University of Pécs.
