Zsolnay Light Art Mapping Competition

The third edition of Zsolnay Light Art Mapping Competition brought many innovations for the festival. The most important thing is that, first time, in the history of the festival, the mapping shows was displayed three evenings this year, the surface for mapping has been expanded, so that the creative artists could compose their Metamorphosis-themed facade-specific videos on the entire visible surface of the Cathedral.

This year, as usual, an international professional jury selected from the best entries from three continents, but similarly to previous years, the audience had a great role in awarding the valuable prizes. Over the course of the three days, in addition to the contest program, there was a selection of the best works from previous years and, of course, Book of Jonah, a classic work by Glowing Bulbs, the hosts of the competition was also displayed.
