várari mozi film

The cellist István Várdai is widely known to the Pécs audience! No wonder since he was born in Pécs and is a frequent concert guest. While his genius as a performer is universally acclaimed, meeting him is a chance to get to know a young man with an open and cheerful personality. István Várdai will perform at this year's Philharmonia Hungary Master Season concert, yet we would like to offer you additional occasions to meet him. We have already recorded a podcast conversation with István, and he will be the guest in the pre-concert prologue. Yet, there is another unique occasion: we are presenting a documentary film about his career on 19 November at the Apollo Cinema! The film will take you on an international journey, offer insight into how other great musicians see him, and provide a glimpse into his childhood and family life. After the screening, we’ll discuss the shooting with Eszter Száraz, the film's director.

If you buy a Master Season ticket on 31 October, you will receive a free ticket to the screening!

Don't miss the opportunity to be part of a unique experience that awaits you at the concerts and the film premiere in Pécs! Immerse yourself in the world of classical music and gain a deeper understanding of István Várdai's journey. We promise you a joyful and inspiring evening!

The film will be screened in the original Hungarian language with English subtitles.

Ticket prices: 1900 Ft
