PTE participated in an international sustainability book project

The University of Pécs (PTE) contributed to a prestigious international book project showcasing universities' sustainability efforts. The material was published in the volume entitled "Green Metric in Higher Education – Measuring and Reporting on Sustainability Initiatives at Higher Education Institutions", which was produced in collaboration between UI GreenMetric and Springer Nature.

Springer Nature, a leading player in international scientific book publishing, has been publishing the "World Sustainability Series" book series. As part of this, a book project was launched with the aim of providing a comprehensive overview of higher education institutions' commitment to sustainable development, with a particular focus on the experiences and achievements of UI GreenMetric network members. The initiative provides an important international platform for universities to showcase their best practices in sustainability, share their lessons learned, and present their innovative solutions to the global professional community.

The participation of the University of Pécs is a mark of outstanding professional recognition, as the invitation confirms the institution's sustainability efforts on the part of both the publisher and UI GreenMetric. The preparation of the publication required significant professional work from the university's staff, contributing to the international visibility of PTE's sustainability achievements.
