Prohuman Department Opens at the PTE Faculty of Business and Economics

The Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Pécs has officially inaugurated the new Prohuman Department ont the 18th of November, marking a significant milestone in the strategic partnership between the faculty and Prohuman Zrt. The collaboration dates back to 2021 and has steadily expanded across academic, educational, and research activities.

Hosting the event, Dr Ákos Jarjabka, Director of the Department of Leadership and Organizational Sciences, emphasised that the establishment of the department is the result of several years of professional cooperation now taking shape in an institutional form. Dr András Takács, Dean of the Faculty, noted that the partnership has reached a level where formal organisational recognition was both justified and timely.

Prohuman’s CEO, Dr Ágnes Tóth, highlighted the role of mutual openness in the collaboration: “Today there are no winners or losers in this room. Everyone wins; both sides gain something.” The newly appointed Head of Department, Dr Zsófia Ásványi, underlined the importance of showcasing the HR profession to students, adding: “We will support them from the very start of their studies to their entry into the labour market. Our mission can be summed up in three words: Discover, Teach, Research.”

Following the speeches, guests toured the new department facilities and attended a reception, offering further opportunities for informal discussions and networking.
