Compostela International Video Contest

The Compostela Group of Universities university network annually recognises, through the international video contest of the Compostela Group of Universities (CGU), the talent and audiovisual creativity of the students of the member universities. CGU’s international video contest emerged as an initiative to encourage them to use new technologies and to develop their skills for the creation of audiovisual content.

Each year the Compostela Group of Universities awards two prizes. The first prize is €1,000 gross amount and the second €400 gross amount. In addition, the award-winning students receive a diploma of recognition and their videos are disseminated on the main communication platforms of the CGU.

Deadlines 

February 2020 – Launching of 2020 call.
1 June 2020 (12:00 PM GMT – noon) – Deadline for submission of applications.
July 2020 – Jury deliberation and the announcement of the winners.
September 2020 – Official presentation of the winning pitches during the annual Compostela Group of Universities General Assembly.
