Who would not like to see what the city is like at night, especially since curfew restrictions? We took some photos, so that you can catch a glimpse of Pécs at night.
"I need a leash!" - thought many at the beginning of the curfew restrictions. A half-crazy writer friend of mine dragged his stuffed dog after himself after 8:00 pm laughing all the way, apparently.
But do we really have to go out there?
What is there on the almost empty streets?
The emptiness, is that the opposite of a life-filled downtown?
The lights are on, sometimes a bus drives by carrying home the ones who had to work.
We take a closer look at each other, when someone tries to get across the street. I wonder who it is.
The footsteps seem more loud. It is cold outside and quiet.
And it turns out that the curfew does not apply to cats. What does even apply to cats? Can you 'squeeze' a kitten into any set of rules?
And as we walk through the city at night, she shows us her beauty over and over again. The built heritage and the silence. How wonderful is this silence! It is strange how much the city can calm down. It is like walking on the set of a movie a little bit, right? What are they shooting? The Second coming? 28 Days Later? The Virus Fights Back? We can only hope that we win!
