Over the years the University of Pécs has built up a wide range of partnerships with foreign universities that include tuition fee waiver student exchanges. Many of these partnerships enjoy temporary funding through the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Programme.
In 2015, the Erasmus+ programme was enlarged, enabling mobility between EU programme countries and non-EU partner countries. Through "International Credit Mobility" - ICM for short - European higher education institutions can set up mobility agreements with partners around the world to send and receive students and staff.
The University of Pécs, as programme country institution, is expected to implement 190 individual ICM mobility opportunities (incoming/outgoing student and teaching staff) in two consecutive project periods (2019-21 and 2020-23) with 26 partner institutions from 35 countries. These Partners are from the following regions: Western Balkan, South Mediterranean, Eastern Partnerships, Russia, Asia, Latin America, Industrialised Americas.

ICM Student mobility scholarships
Eligibility: Full-time international students of the University of Pecs who are not recipients of any other major scholarship scheme (Erasmus or Stipendium Hungaricum) are eligible to apply.
Calls for ICM outgoing students mobility scholarships are announced at the beginning of each semester. For the actual and detailed announcements inquire at the faculty international co-ordinators.
Tuition fee waiver student mobility opportunities
In case there are no ICM scholarships available, the chance is still there for you to apply for traditional (semester- or year-long) student exchange placements.
Eligibility: Full-time international students of the University of Pecs who are not recipients of the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship programme are eligible to apply.

Institutional coordination
On the institutional level, the Mobility Programme Office of the International Centre serves as the main co-ordinating unit responsible for the successful implementation of these programmes.
