Tenora Chorale is a newly founded professional mixed choir in Pécs, Hungary, initiated by students but designed to operate at a high artistic and organisational level. 

Inspired by ensembles such as Christopher Tin’s collaborations and the Stellenbosch University Choir, Tenora aims to bring together 24–32 dedicated singers from diverse faculties to perform a repertoire that bridges cultures, genres, and stories.

Established membership of 15 singers (targeting 24–32)

Long-Term Plans: 

  • Perform at university ceremonies, community events, and competitions.
  • Act as a cultural ambassador for the University of Pécs.
  • Strengthen the University’s image as an institution that values student wellbeing, diversity, and creativity
