We would be delighted to receive your nominations for Erasmus+ exchange students for the Spring semester of the 2026/2027 academic year. Please note that all incoming exchange students must be officially nominated by their home institution via this link prior to submitting their applications to the University of Pécs.
The nomination period for the spring semester: October 1, 2026 - November 1, 2026
The application period for the spring semester: October 15, 2026 - November 15, 2026
The nomination period for the fall semester: April 1, 2027 - May 1, 2027
The application period for the fall semester: April 15, 2027 - May 30, 2027
Please be informed that starting from the 2023/24 academic year, dormitory accommodation at the University of Pécs is strictly reserved for non-EEA citizens (students who require a visa to enter Hungary). Consequently, all other students are responsible for securing their own private accommodation independently. As a general suggestion, you may explore external social media networks such as Pécs Apartments For Rent, Pécs Flats for Rent / Apartments for Rent / Roommates, Pécs Flats For Rent, or Flat for Rent Pecs students, though please note that the University cannot take responsibility for these independent platforms.
Autumn semester dates 2026/2027:
Study period: August 31, 2026 - December 11, 2026 (varies by faculty; please contact the relevant faculty coordinator directly for further details)
Exam period: December 14, 2026 - 5 weeks, but different by faculties (until the middle of January approximately)
Spring semester dates 2026/2027:
Study period: February 1, 2027 - May 14, 2027
Exam period: May 17, 2027 - 5 weeks, but different by faculties (until the middle of June approximately)

Application process step by step:
The applicant must complete the application forms and upload all required documents to our online system here.
- The sending university nominates the students via THIS online nomination platform. Please do not use Freemail, Hotmail, Citromail or Windows mail addresses. These do not function with our system. (The system prefers Gmail.)
- After, we send an application email to the student's email address. Students have to click on the link in the email. Contact us if the nominated students do not receive any kind of email during the application period.
- The student has to submit the online application as soon as possible.
- The application process is finished when the Acceptance Letter is available for download on the application platform. Please note that the official Letter of Acceptance is a mandatory requirement for the student's admission.
