The practicing and development of drawing skills as the base of the visual and imagery creation and through this the stimulation of a personal artistic way of observing, thinking and representing the world. The course makes known the basic rudiments and techniques of painting in the first years and then gradually grows towards becoming an artist.
For a successful application please follow the steps below:
In all cases, the international relations coordinator forwards the application materials to the relevant admission committee. If the committee decides that on the basis of the application material the applicant should take an oral exam, the applicant will be interviewed in person or via Skype. A Skype interview will be conducted if the applicant's attendance is impeded and the examination committee offers them the opportunity to be interviewed via Skype. Applicants are given two possible dates for the interview, taking into account any time zone differences.
If the applicant does not have a language proficiency certificate, but on the basis of the oral entrance examination their language proficiency is sufficient to complete the relevant programme, the entrance examination committee may waive this criterion.
If the applicant has a BA in Fine Arts rather than a high school leaving exam at the time of the admission process, they may apply for recognition of their previous studies.

The aim of the entrance examination, which is combined with the aptitude test, is to assess the applicant's spatial perception, sense of proportion, colour and shape, acquired visual linguistic expression and visual creativity based on the presentation of their work created at home. Presentation of work created at home: 10 pieces of study (drawing, painting, created with different techniques in colour if possible). Five of these may be presented with teacher’s corrections. These should demonstrate the applicant’s professional activity in the 2-3 years prior to the entrance exam.
The aim is to assess the applicants’ ability to shape form, colour and space, their sensitivity in understanding the observed phenomena and the in the use of visual linguistic expressions. The committee also examines their individual artistic inventions, their knowledge of art history and contemporary art, as well as aptitude for a career in art.
