We have been running educational projects since 1996 in the field of electroacoustic music, video art and design, presenting a special role in the faculty, where both of the fine arts and classical music students cooperate in the projects. With the BA programme in electronic music and media arts we cover the gap in the study of electronic music and in wider perspective, specialize in the arts of new media.

Study plan:

• Ground knowledge: philosophy, contemporary aesthetics, network laws, culture and art history, history of music, acoustics
• General professional knowledge: music theory, timbre-solfége , musical informatics and media knowledge, psychoacoustics, electronic music notation, performance practice
• Specialized professional knowledge: computer music projects, composition practice, stylistic exercises in computer music, sound synthesis and analysis

For a successful application please follow the steps below:

  3. After you have submitted your application, you are going to receive information on the further steps.
  4. Once the application fee (EUR100) has been received, applications will begin to be processed.

In all cases, the international relations coordinator forwards the application materials to the relevant admission committee. If the committee decides that on the basis of the application material the applicant should take an oral exam, the applicant will be interviewed in person or via Skype. A Skype interview will be conducted if the applicant's attendance is impeded and the examination committee offers them the opportunity to be interviewed via Skype. Applicants are given two possible dates for the interview, taking into account any time zone differences.
