This qualification ensures competence for performing measurement, evaluation, control and management tasks in the field of electricity. Apart from learning the bases of electrical and electronic engineering within the frame of the study at our institution the students will become members of a technology society involving them in complex projects and developments already during the university years. Electrical Engineers owning complex knowledge are now mostly wanted in Europe. Companies acting in the most dynamically developing industry field on the Earth ranging from nuclear power plants to microelectronic companies, from small-scale teams to multi-continental firms are waiting for you.

The applicant has to submit the following documents by uploading them to the online application portal of the University of Pécs:

  • Copy of the photo-page(s) of your passport
  • Diploma: It states that you have finished your High School studies and it has been certified by the issuing institution.  If your documents are in any other language, you also need to submit an authorized English translation of the documents.

Application for Bachelor program: High School Diploma 

  • Transcript of Records: an official document of High School/Bachelor/Master studies which shows your completed courses and grades for each semester included in your degree. If your documents are in any other language, you also need to submit an authorized English translation of the documents.

Application for BSc degree: during the application process, the average of the last two years of your high school studies will be assessed. 

  • Motivation letter
  • Medical Certificate: an official certificate issued by a GP which states that you are not suffering from infectious diseases, you are in good physical and mental condition. The form of the certificate is not specified but has to be signed and sealed by the GP.  See example!

0 point: a The motivational letter contains nothing specific, no professional goals are set; the motivational letter is written with artificial intelligence.

10 points: Definite professional and personal motivation but still general goals;

20 points: Thoroughly well-thought-out, conclusive motivation and adequately specific professional goals.

CEFR level C1 language exam certificate

The admission decision

The minimum requirement for admission is that the candidate

a) obtains more than zero points for each of the three main criteria, and

b) the total score, of at least 60, without extra points.

 

The maximum points the Applicant can obtain can not be more than 100 points.
