EHÖK

The International Mentor Program (IMP) project, run by the University’s Student Union (EHÖK), aims to help international students integrate into the university environment. Each student can be paired with a mentor who provides guidance after arrival, shares information about university systems, institutional procedures, scholarships, and student life, and assists with administrative matters upon request. In addition, the Student Union organizes programs and events for international students, creating opportunities to meet Hungarian students and become part of the university community.

LEGAL

The CLAC (Campus Legal Aid Clinic) was launched in 2015 to deepen law students' academic knowledge; at the same time, it provides professional and monitored legal advice to UP students. In the past years, a number of foreign students have turned to the law clinic for legal advice. In a personal meeting, they can consult their legal problem with selected law students. Then they get supervised legal advice from
a professor of law. This piece of advice and possible solutions are presented and explained to the client by the law students. There is a possibility to give legal advice and carry out consultancy in both English and German languages.

If you have a question or problem in connection with your lease agreement, equal treatment, or other civil wrongs,
then do not hesitate to contact us; we do our best to assist you with your legal problem.

Counseling

Student Counseling offers psychological support for students. You can ask for help if you are struggling with stress, anxiety, personal or relationship problems, study-related difficulties, adjusting to university life, or other challenges affecting your well-being. The counselors provide a safe space to talk and help you find ways to cope with everyday difficulties. The service is free of charge and guarantees complete discretion.
