Petar Cindrić is the honorary doctor of the University of Pécs since 20 November 2015.
He became Emeritus Professor at the University of Novi Sad.
His professional and scientific activity was studying of grape varieties and breeding of grapes.
His most important results: resistance breeding of grape against frost and fungal diseases and clone selection.
