The Senate of the University of Pécs has awarded the title of "doctor honoris causa" to Mária Apagyi, a music educator, pianist, professor at the Faculty of Music Visual and Arts, for her invaluable work in the field of music and visual arts education based on an interdisciplinary approach, and in the area of improvisation training.
