Aim of the programme
The aim of the Master's programme in International Economics and Business is to train economists who are capable of conducting complex economic analyses, decision-making, and strategic planning in a global environment with comprehensive knowledge of international economics, business, and methodology. Students acquire the theoretical and practical foundations of international economic processes, European integration, the operation of foreign trade and financial systems, and modern quantitative and qualitative analytical methods. The training prepares them to take on managerial and expert roles in international companies, governmental and international organizations, financial institutions, and research and development projects. Graduates are also ready to continue their studies in doctoral programmes.

- would like to understand and analyse global economic processes and their impact on the operation of companies and national economies;
- are interested in European integration, international economic policy and foreign trade systems;
- would like to acquire high-level methodological knowledge (statistics, econometrics, modelling) and apply it to solve complex problems;

(1) This admission procedure applies to all applicants who do not have Hungarian citizenship or Hun-garian dual citizenship, regardless of whether they have applied for a scholarship programme or a pri-vate placement at the School.
(2) Documents to be submitted with the application are:
a) a valid passport;
b) a BA/BSc certificate and a certified translation into English, which entitles the applicant to enter into a master's program in the applicant's home country;
c) an official transcript of the results document and a certified English translation thereof;
d) a certificate of proficiency in English if no older than two years, and at least a CEFR level B2, obtained at an internationally recognised (accredited) language examination institution. More information about the acceptable certificates here.
e) letter of motivation,
f) other certificates (CEFR C1 level English language exam, disadvantaged situation, professional experience, volunteering)
(3) Applications are ranked in a 100-point system according to the following criteria:
a) Learning outcomes: maximum 30 points
b) Mathematics test performance: maximum 20 points
c) Motivational interview: maximum 50 points
d) Extra points: maximum 16 points

(4) Minimum eligibility criteria for admissions requires that the applicant
a) obtains more than zero points for each of the two main criteria [(3) a), b)] and
b) their total score exceeds 50 points without extra points.
