In addition to knowledge of classical dietetics (Bachelor's level), nutritionists at the Master's level acquire a new, comprehensive approach to nutrition science that is increasingly developing worldwide. With their up-to-date, multidisciplinary expertise, these professionals are able to provide specialized nutritional advice, conduct research and development activities, and even participate in the formulation of health policy decisions. The degree can be used in scientific research, health promotion programs, and expert positions in the food industry, research institutes, or public health organizations. The duration of the training is 4 semesters with a total number of 120 ECTS. Graduating with a Master's degree in Dietetics and Nutrition Sciences enables students to pursue further studies at the PhD level at Pécs University, within the Doctoral School of Health Sciences Research program. The Department of Dietetics and Nutrition Sciences has a collaborative partnership with the European Federation of the Associations of Dietitians (EFAD).
