The three-semester Master’s is delivered exclusively through distance learning, combining asynchronous and synchronous elements. The predominantly asynchronous format provides students with the flexibility to study regardless of their geographical location and according to their schedule. Through digital educational platforms and interactive learning materials, students maintain continuous contact with instructors and peers while accessing up-to-date legal applications and theoretical questions. The synchronous consultation sessions, on the other hand, allow students to consult with the lecturers and staff directly regarding any substantive or administrative questions. The curriculum incorporates foundational public law knowledge, international law expertise, European Union law expertise and a thesis, resulting in a well-rounded professional education.

  3. After you have submitted your application, you are going to receive information on the further steps.
  4. If we receive your application fee, we are going to start the evaluation of your application. The document evaluation is based on a point system; please see the details below. You must fulfil all the abovementioned criteria to participate in the admission interview. If you do not meet one of the requirements, the application must be rejected; you will receive a "Not qualified" status. The decision shall be without appeal.
  5. After the document evaluation, you'll receive the invoice for the Entrance exam fee.
  6. Entrance exam
An oral entrance interview (online) is scheduled with eligible applicants and carried out by a committee. The qualified applicant receives a guideline e-mail (on the e-mail address provided during the application process) approximately 5-7 days before the date of the entrance exam interview. Shortly after, the applicant gets the actual MS Teams invitation with the link to join the meeting at the given time (be aware of the timezone differences).
The interview takes approximately 15 minutes, and the committee will ask about your background, plans and motivation to choose us. You will need to talk about your previous studies and field of interest.
The committee might ask you additional questions; no previously set list exists.
  7. Admission decision
The admissions committee proposes, but the decision is made by the Head of the Programme within a maximum of two weeks from the date of the interview, taking into account the applicant's score and the capacity of the training programme applied for. The decision shall be without appeal.
  8. Offers
If you successfully pass the document evaluation and the admission interview and upload all the required documents, you will receive an "Acceptable" offer.
If you pass the document evaluation and the admission interview but have some missing documents, you will receive a "Conditionally acceptable" offer. In this case, you will have time to submit the missing documents. After this is done, you will receive the "Acceptable" offer.
If you cannot pass the admission interview, you will receive a "Failed" status, which means the application is rejected. The decision shall be without appeal.
  9. Tuition fee payment
If you receive an "Acceptable" offer, you must accept this offer in the online application system. As soon as you have done that, the system issues the invoice for the tuition fee payment. You must pay the full tuition fee; in the first semester, paying in instalments is impossible.
  10. Letter of Admission
