This programme is aimed at professionals with an interest in mechanical engineering in the built environment and industrial fields who desire a strong component of practical work. The aim is to provide education to a bachelor's level in mechanical engineering, to cater to industry on the national and international market; our graduates are able to excel in the contemporary world of engineering. The program includes modules in the practical aspects of planning and industrial management sciences, as well as in systems engineering, studying mechanical, mechatronic, and electronic aspects,  simulation of engineering systems, and numerical modelling, quality control, and innovation techniques.  Students also learn how to develop research and presentation skills. The faculty’s international connections with other universities allow students to apply for scholarships to study abroad and take part in workshops. The education is made up of laboratory work, projects and examinations, lectures, and field practice spent at one of the industrial partners of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering.

The applicant has to submit the following documents by uploading them to the online application portal of the University of Pécs:

  • Copy of the photo-page(s) of your passport

  • Diploma: It states that you have finished your High School studies and it has been certified by the issuing institution.  If your documents are in any other language, you also need to submit an authorized English translation of the documents.

Application for Bachelor program: High School Diploma 

  • Transcript of Records: an official document of High School/Bachelor/Master studies which shows your completed courses and grades for each semester included in your degree. If your documents are in any other language, you also need to submit an authorized English translation of the documents.

Application for BSc degree: during the application process, the average of the last two years of your high school studies will be assessed. 

  • Motivation letter

  • Medical Certificate: an official certificate issued by a GP which states that you are not suffering from infectious diseases, you are in good physical and mental condition. The form of the certificate is not specified but has to be signed and sealed by the GP.  See example!

  • Recommendations, C1 English Language Certificate, publications etc – optional

Students must successfully complete their secondary school/Bachelor program before enrollment at UP FEIT.

The admission decision

The minimum requirement for admission is that the candidate

a) obtains more than zero points for each of the three main criteria, and

b) the total score, of at least 60, without extra points.

 

The maximum points the Applicant can obtain can not be more than 100 points.
