Angola represents itself for the first time to our university students and to the citizens of Pécs.
17.00 Angolan photo exhibition opening ceremony
17.30 Movie night: 'Njinga, Queen of Angola' tells us a story of a legendary queen, who ruled in the 17th century of Angola (in English).
You can also be a guest for a special traditional Angolan dinner. Thanks to the Embassy of Angola, we can taste wonderful dishes made from Angolan ingredients, prepared by Angolan chefs during the movie.

May 23: outstanding lecture in the House of Arts and Literature at 17.30.
dr. Ágnes Pécsi: The ancient Egypt’s newest secrets, aka the pyramids in the lights of the newest researches.
One of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Great Pyramid of Giza was always a popular topic of scientific studies. There are many theories about how it was built, the scientists and the „pyramidiots” are fighting for a long time ago with competing ideas.
In this lecture we will have the opportunity to hear about the latest scientific results.
(The lecture’s will be held in Hungarian)
May 24: Unique drum performance on the terrace of the Nappali (Király street 25).
The Senegalese Abdoul Camara and his band will play on African drums, and you can try it too! The performance includes a dance show, even the famous fire-eating dance!
May 25: Well-known musician DJ Director will play the finest African songs in Made in Pécs Cafe from 21.00
