Dormitory places at the University of Pécs are limited and are allocated according to the University's annual accommodation policy.
First-year student who would like to apply for dormitory accommodation must indicate this during the application process. Eligible students will receive further information and the dormitory registration form during the summer, after obtaining the required admission status.
Priority is given to scholarship holders, visa-required students, and certain mobility programme participants. The remaining places for full-degree, self-funded first-year international students are allocated in the order in which applicants reach the "Tuition fee collected" status during the admission process.
Please note that dormitory placement is not guaranteed, and allocations are final.
The following applicants are not eligible for first-year dormitory placement:
- self-funded EU citizens,
- returning students or students who have previously studied at a Hungarian higher education institution,
- EU Erasmus+/Exchange students,
- applicants who did not request dormitory accommodation during the application process,
- applicants who reach the "Tuition fee collected" status after the available places have been filled.
After the first year: Students wishing to be accommodated during their second academic year must apply through the annual online application process organised by the Student Union. Placement is based on the applicable dormitory regulations.
