At the end of March a delegation headed by Prof. Dr. József Bódis, Rector of the University of Pécs, was paying a visit of strategic importance at the Metropolitan State University (MSU) of Denver, Colorado.

The bilateral partership was originally initiated by the Faculty of Engineering and IT of UP some years ago, and as of today, it has developed into a mutually meaningful multi-school cooperation including the regular exchange of teaching staff, students and admin personnel. One unique feature of the cooperation is a minor program in Architecture provided by MSU for its engineering students, but taught by teaching staff from Pécs in Denver. Several other forms of collaboration was discussed and designed at a meeting with the new President of MSU Denver, Dr. Janine A. Davidson, including joint, co-hosted conferences, research, study abroad programs, faculty-led summer schools and co-taught courses both in Pécs and Denver.
