Online Summer School about the Cultural Heritage of Hungary

This year due to the coronavirus epidemic, the “Hungarian Cultural Heritage” summer school will be held online, starting on July 6. The participants of the two-week summer course are from three continents and they will join this virtual program from the US, Korea, India, Germany, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, the Czech Republic and Ukraine. The participants will learn about Hungarian history, culture, folk music and gastronomy as well as take part in virtual sightseeing and museum tours. The program will also include an online cooking course for students to learn how to make goulash soup. There will also be an Intercultural Evening for introducing the culture, food and music of the different nations represented, and Hungarian Film and Music Nights will be organized for participants. The lecturers and the organizers of this international online summer school will provide students with exciting information and knowledge about the cultural heritage of Hungary.

The Pécs Summer School program was launched in 2016 by the Centre for Internationalization and Connections. Due to the large number of summer courses currently offered, the University of Pécs has become the market leader among Hungarian higher education institutions in this field.
